Sue is the vice-chair of the Cottage Garden Society, and a national collection holder of various hardy geraniums, having been growing these cottage garden essentials for 25 years. She will be talking about Margery Fish, who was a pioneering gardener and garden writer of the cottage garden style of the mid-20th century. Since her death in 1969, her own garden, East Lambrook Manor in Somerset, has been awarded Grade I listed status and, against the odds, remains open to the public.
