In 1997, the Friends of Treborth Botanic Garden was founded with a remit to help improve the gardens and facilities.

The Friends are now a very succesful charitable organisation with more than 300 members .

We organise a variety of events, such as lectures, workshops, field outings, garden visits, plant sales and open days.

Some friends enjoy volunteering in the garden on Wednesdays or Fridays, some prefer to help out at special events and some provide help through being a member of the Friends.

Every four months, we publish a newsletter - a 50 page illustrated review of news about the garden, and articles contributed by the friends on a wide range of relevant topics.
